Is it Confidential?

Yes. Anything we discuss is held between us.  I have a Supervisor, who is a more experienced Counsellor, who I seek support from, ensuring that your identify is not shared. I store any notes I keep in a lockable filing cabinet.

How often will we meet?

Weekly sessions are more effective initially whilst we explore what is troubling you.

After our Introduction meeting, we will agree an initial number of sessions, which is usually around 6  sessions. We can then decide how many more sessions you would like. Counselling can be long term, or relatively short to suit your needs.

Where will the Counselling take Place?

I work from two different Counselling Practices in central Brighton.

How do I choose my Counsellor?

In your search for a counsellor, it is important to you feel comfortable with someone you can trust. This is why I offer a 30 minute Introduction appointment where we can talk about why you are seeking counselling, which will allow you time to assess if you would like to work with me.
